We have been with the Mid Sussex Networks for Older People team for a while now and are busy identifying the wide variety of local voluntary groups and services available to older people.
We can help by:
- Assisting groups who wish to expand and develop
- iIentifying gaps in local services and helping the community to develop its own solutions
- Encouraging people, of all ages, to volunteer for community groups
- Supporting groups to link up with other groups and services
- Referring older people to relevant services and agencies, particularly the Mid Sussex Community Partnership Team
